Jag is looking to welcome the regional representative of the Royal Academy of Engineering to Jag in early November. The Jag team are hoping to learn more about the academies plans for the region and how we can support the team .
Jag is working with CPI as part of an Innovate application for a new medical device. CPI will be developing an energy harvesting system for a new product which may also feature printed electronics. The application will be submitted by the end of the year.
Following a visit from Mike Bateman, Jag have started developing a new material from a new waste stream. The development has started as the waste stream has been re classified as medical waste and is now £300 per ton instead of £80 per ton.
Jag caught up with Professor Stephanie Scott from Durham University to discuss support that Jag can give on a new SME program to investigate innovation. The program is looking at how SMEs innovate in the North East and network.
Jag is working with a Sunderland based company to support the development of a new product to monitor cognitive issues and health problems. The new product will be an innovative insole that will fit any users show to enable data to be collected.
Jag have been asked to work with a client to develop a new innovative sports product. The product is to support the development of goal keeping skills for the under 13 England football team. The product will be prototyped using the in house 3D printers.
